Andrea Sheds Light on the Pressures That the Twins Face

Hola! I hope everyone had a great week. Did you like tonight's episode? It was great, right? I love how real and honest Tia and Tamera are. They are usually such private people, but they love their fans so much that they wanted to connect with you all on a deeper level. You get to see them deal with real life issues. In this episode, you got to see Tamera deal with the pressure of being a working actress in Hollywood and Tia handle the reality of having to balance her job and motherhood.

Tamera has been working so hard auditioning. Most people see movies or TV shows and don't understand how hard it was for the actors to get there. There are those lucky few who get discovered at the mall, but most actors have to study and go on hundreds of auditions before they book a job. They deal with rejection constantly. Like Tamera said, it's just a part of their job. I have a few friends who act and they become so focused on getting a job, that they really don't give themselves time for anything else. I get it. They LOVE their jobs, but it's also important for them to have a life.

I am so grateful that Tamera has Adam to tell her when she needs to shift her focus for a bit. My family lives and breathes baseball, so I totally got his analogy! I'm glad Tamera did, too. She let herself relax, focus on her Napa house, threw an awesome party, then went right back to auditioning. She didn't lose focus; she just shifted it a little, which ended up helping her do a better job in the end. Tamera is learning how to balance life, marriage and work and I think she's doing a fantastic job!

Tamera is also trying to be a supportive sister to Tia. When Tamera saw Tia so upset about missing Cree crawl, her first instinct was to try and help Tia figure out how to fix it. Tamera didn't mean to upset her twin and was speaking out of concern for her. I can't even imagine how hard it is for Tia. I hate when I miss my niece and nephews' milestones and I'm not even their mom! Tune in next week to see how this issue gets resolved. There's never a dull moment with Tia and Tamera!
