Weave Academy Showdown: "I Call It Like I See It," Says Tracy
Fashion is the kind of girl who thinks she's better than everyone. She started at Anthony's with the mindset that she can't learn a THING from any of us because she's "been in the business." But guess what? Styles change, and you can never be too good for learning. I have always been up to learning new things from everyone I meet, Olivia included. She could probably teach me a thing or two about makeup. I never think I'm too good. I just know I'm good at what I do, but I can always get better!
I was really excited to be included in the Weave Academy, because I always wanted to learn how to do a really great weave, but I was nervous about learning from Fashion because I know how she can be: a dictator. But despite all that, I was VERY excited and anxious to learn.
Out of the entire class, I was the only one who was actually doing well, and yet she picked on me the entire time. Was I surprised? NO, I could have bet my life this would happen. I tried staying calm, but I'm not a very calm person when I'm caught between a rock and a hard place—rock being the wall and the hard place being Fashion.
I call it like I see it. She was being an evil bitch, so I CALLED her an evil bitch. At the time, I kinda just said what I felt, but after she told me she was being tough on me because of my potential, I realized I shouldn't have called her that. Yes, we are getting along a little better as of now, but let's see how it goes. I hope this is how we can stay, and I hope she continues to be "nice" and not be mean to me.
I think the only thing Fashion and I have in common is that we are very determined, but the way she approaches situations and they way she acts, I would never be like that. I am a very nice person, and I try to give people chances.
I would LOVE to work for New York Fashion Week, but I just want to learn weaves to have the skill set under my belt. I feel like knowledge is power, and I am determined to learn ALL I CAN!
I love Christy, don't get me wrong, but she is NOT the type of person we want at G2GIMAGE because her facial expressions give away what she's thinking. Sometimes clients need a softer kind of person when making such a dramatic change in their life.
I have been a little uneasy about the whole Miguel situation after the launch party between me, him, Olivia and Krystle, but I know he's a good person and probably didn't mean any harm.
If I had to choose who I trust the most to have my back out of Olivia, Christy and Miguel, then I would choose Olivia (when it comes to G2G or G2GIMAGE) because she has as much passion for the service as I do. I mean, they are HER ideas. So when it comes to knowing who works best together, it's Olivia and me.
The fact Christy won't be joining G2Go does make me more confident about my job security, because I know that after seeing what it's like OUTSIDE Gatsby, Christy will have more respect for the hard work that comes from Olivia and me!
