Cathy's "Best Party Ever" Is a Glam Fairy Engagement Bash

I absolutely adore Alexa. Now that she and Danny are engaged, I wanted to show them how happy I was for them by hosting a celebration in their honor.

I was very to happy to have Jon as my co-chair. After all, he is Alexa's best friend, and we both love her, so we both had her best interests at heart. While Jon and I definitely have a different sense of style, I thought we could combine our tastes to make this engagement party a success.

For the theme, I wanted to incorporate Alexa's Glam Fairy style with a touch of elegance.

At the party store, Jon and I clashed over color schemes. But he had to realize that I wanted this to be the best party ever and felt like my ideas matched what I was hoping to achieve. We did compromise, though, because I really wanted him to be a part of this party.

I really like Jon a lot. I think he's adorable and a great best friend to Alexa. Since this was the first time we worked together, we needed to really get to know one another and realize that we both shared the same love for Alexa. I think Jon realized that instead of working against one another, we could work together, share ideas and make this the best engagement party ever.

In the end, Alexa loved the party. She was so thankful and loved how we incorporated her Glam Fairy image into the event.

Jon was extremely pleased at the outcome, because his ideas were also used. I told Jon that when he becomes engaged I would love to host a party in his honor. Jon is my new BFF=}}.

I had no idea Alexa's brother Andy would make a surprise appearance; I was under the assumption he couldn't make it. What a beautiful surprise that he came! Tears came to my eyes when I saw Alexa's joy in seeing her brother. I must say, it was a night filled with love, happiness and fairy glitter. A complete success!
