She Said YES! Danny Opens Up About Popping the Question on Jerseylicious
Alexa is passionate and driven in whatever she tackles. I love her work ethic, and we both push each other in life to make things better.
I had been thinking about how I wanted to propose for months, on and off. I always knew it had to be something related to John Lennon and Central Park, since those are really her two favorite things. I just added a little extra to it.The "Imagine" signs took a couple of weeks to put together.
I wasn't really nervous before I popped the question; I actually felt very calm and relaxed. Part of the reason for that was because of Ms. G—having her there was very reassuring, almost like I had my own mother there.
Since the engagement, we have talked a bit about the wedding. Alexa and I are really going to get into all the details in the upcoming month. I will contribute my ideas, but if she is set on something she wants, then I am all for it. Yes, the both of us are getting married—but in my eyes, it's her day.
What can I say? It felt great. I couldn't imagine saying those words to anyone else.
