Donny: "The Antiqued Mirrors Added Beauty and Mystery to the Space"
During our first meeting at Adina and Jay's home, I was really surprised that Jay had all of the closet space in their bedroom. Then, when I get a load of how much clothes Adina owned, I got it.
The parts of the Kim's design that I loved were the functional closets and the antiqued mirrors. I liked that Adina could actually look and see into her closet, and that there was a light that went on. I also liked helping Adina pick out the antiqued mirrors (I think my charm did it!) and, then, installing them. I knew they were going to look good. They added beauty and mystery to the space. The clear mirrors didn't give character or structure to the room at all.
When I saw Adina tear up, it was good stuff. It was real. I was happy that she enjoyed the design as much as we did.
My favorite part of the entire experience has got to be when Adina was playing the piano. She had this one song that was heaven.
