Would You Wear It? Christian Louboutin 'SEX' Pumps

We're familiar with the term "walking sex" being used to describe a super hot individual, but shoe-cobbling wizard Christian Louboutin seems to have taken the phrase literally. He recently released a pair of pumps that are anything but subtle in their message.

We know high heels are sexy, but these ones get right to the point: when the wearer stands with her feet together, the pair spells out the word 'SEX' in Swarovski crystals going across the toes. Chic? Skanky? Skanky Chic? Frankly, we found the pumps ironic since in order to read the wording, your legs have to be tightly closed. (See what we did there?)

But, the Loubous have definitely gotten the celebrity stamp of approval. Ashanti was the first to sport the black version to New York Fashion Week in February, while Katy Perry wore the nude version to the Echo Awards last month in Berlin. Finally, supermodel Kate Upton donned the pumps as well at a bash in New York City last week.

We definitely have to give the pumps some credit for making a statement (ha!), but unless someone is definitely DTF and wants everybody knowing it, we wouldn't recommend them. Would you wear the bold Louboutins?
