Tia Talks Pop-Up Shop
What I loved most about the pop-up sale was just being able to interact with kids and people who were doing good for a cause. They weren't just buying stuff to buy it, they were buying stuff for a cause, and it was great to just sit there and have a one-on-one conversation with them, and thank them personally for helping my sister and I achieve this wonderful goal for such a great organization, which is Family Promise.
It was hard for me to let go of the pieces from The Game. I think those dresses were a part of me. Sometimes, you have to use a symbol or some type of object to get rid of to symbolize letting go of something. For me, it was those dresses. Selling them at the pop-up shop was my way of completely just letting go of the whole situation. That was hard.
