Tamera's Bestie Andrea Breaks Down the Sisters' Issues

Hola! I'm excited to share this blog with you! Can we start off by saying how gorgeous Tia and Tamera are? I mean, really?! Flawless from head to toe! On the other hand, please remind me never to wear horizontal stripes again!

The beginning of tonight's episode had me cracking up! First, Tia can't pronounce "distributed." Then, Tamera tells Tia her boobs are "double sucked on." Next was the "If I'm crazy, then you're a lunatic" conversation. They are both crazy, but at least they admit it! Those girls are hilarious. People always ask me, "Is that how they really act?" Yes. Yes it is. Don't you notice that I'm always laughing? That's what life is like as Tamera's BFF: constant laughter!

Oh my gosh, Cree is ABSOLUTELY A-DOR-A-BLE! I just want to pinch his cheeks! Tia is a wonderful mother. Girl, if you ever need a break, just give me a call! I come from a big Mexican family. I've been babysitting since I was five, and I promise to keep the cheek pinching to a minimum.

Watching the girls start to build their business brings joy to my heart! They've been talking about this since college. I understand Tia's concerns about Tamera being away in Napa. At first, Tamera's trips up North were a way for her to escape the stresses of L.A. Napa was her sanctuary, a place to refresh her spirit. She'd go away for a couple days and come back ready to conquer the world. Now, Napa is her home. It is still tranquil, but she's not a visitor. She lives there. But Tamera is more focused than ever on her career and won't let a few hundred miles get in her way! Hello, it's 2012! We have cell phones and e-mail now.

Speaking of cell phones, I knew that something was up when Tam called and said she needed some girl time. At dinner, when she revealed how upset she was that Tia didn't tell her about the movie, I totally got it. Tamera has such a big heart. She finds joy in celebrating everything! When I walk up a flight of stairs in heels without tripping, she claps! When her husband, Adam, makes dinner, she does a little happy dance. She gives high fives freely and toasts to everything! So, I understand why she would be upset about not being able to celebrate something as big as Tia booking a movie. That's a big deal. (Congrats, Tia!) Plus, Tia was worried about Tamera being in Napa, and now she was going to be in Utah for six weeks shooting a movie. I can see how that would bother Tamera.

Anyone with sisters knows that it's normal to have disagreements and hurt feelings. I have two sisters and we have disagreements all the time. I think the only way to deal with them is by talking them out. The longer you let something fester, the bigger deal it becomes. It was HUGE to hear Tamera admit that she is afraid to confront Tia. It was a breakthrough for Tamera because now she wants to work on her communication with her sis. They're twins and love each other. They should be able to talk about anything. Tamera was terrified, but she promised to do it.

When we got to the party, Tamera was avoiding me. She can't hide her emotions and I knew she hadn't talked to Tia! The party was three hours long and since you all didn't get to see the whole thing, let me tell you what the vibe between the girls was...AWKWARD. Imagine knowing that someone you care about got an awesome opportunity, but you can't congratulate them because you're not supposed to know? I'm sure Tia could sense that something was up. The tension in the room was thick. I pulled Tamera aside and encouraged her to talk to Tia. We both knew the party was not the right place to do it and hoped for a more private setting, but Tamera couldn't handle the tension any longer and was determined to fix it. She didn't want it to turn into a bigger deal than it really was.

I'm proud Tamera was able to speak her mind. Their conversation got a little heated, but in the end, they were able to resolve the issue and move on. I love that about these two. They argue, but they come together, work through the problem and end up laughing together in the end. I hope you all enjoyed the show! Talk to you next week!
