Tamera: "Aden's a Happy, Big Boy!"
We caught up with Tamera Mowry-Housley days before son Aden's 2-month birthday. From Aden's first Christmas to daddy and me time, read on for the latest scoop on the celebutot!
How is your little one, Aden, doing these days?
Aden's doing so well! He's progressing. He's a happy, big boy. He's very talkative, which is not surprising because he has two parents who love to talk. It's amazing how he talks to us now. He's not saying anything. He's cooing, of course. But it's very interesting. He loves his dad! Adam and Aden will talk for hours.
Is Adam the father you expected him to be?
Actually, Adam is the father I expected him to be—and then some. I'm very surprised at his patience beause, a lot of the times, you hear about dads who get annoyed or frustrated because they don't understand why their child is crying. Adam has definitely surprised me in that area. He's very, very patient with our son. He's patient with me. Adam and Aden already have father and son time. They just spend time together on the couch while Adam watches TV. It's a very beautiful thing to watch.
How was Aden's first Christmas?
It was awesome! Aden was a very, very good boy. He loved spending time with his uncles. He loves looking at light, so the Christmas tree was like the best thing he had ever seen!
Is Aden attached to any toy yet?
He loves this stuffed animal dog that reflects light on the ceiling. It reflects stars and the moon, and it changes color. His grandma Judy, Adam's mom, gave it to him. He goes ballistic over it!
Tia famously calls Aden "Chunkmunk." What do you think of it? Do you have a nickname for Aden as well?
I love it! I think it's very fitting because Aden is a chunky, little fella! He really is! I just call him Aden, for now, and "baby boy."
