Well, it rings true in this scenario: The elegant Kate Beckinsale was the first to wear Nina Ricci's pale pink rose-stamped cloqué dress with ribboned waist and ruffled hem last September at the L.A. screening of Nowhere Boy. The timeless beauty looked breathtaking in the sweet frock. It showed off her cute frame, and the soft updo and nude Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps were perfect. Kim Kardashian's turn at the lovely number during NBA All-Star weekend wasn't as successful. Between her clip-on bangs and suffocated covered cleavage, Kimmie looked like a little school girl—literally! Look at her standing next to her basketball player beau Kris Humphries. She's so tiny! Most recently, Amanda Peet rocked the popular design in white to the Spirit Awards. She added her trademark quirk to the look with sheer black polkadot tights and Mary Jane platform heels, which would've been well and good if the dress had fit her better.
