Sarah Reveals Fashion Inspirations & Shopping Tips

How would you describe your style? 
If I had to pick one way to describe my style it would be boho chic. However, my style usually depends on my mood that day.

Who are your favorite designers?
I love so many designers, and my favorites are constantly changing, but I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth and James, Rag and Bone, alice + olivia and Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent.

What criteria do you have when looking for shoes and handbags?
For basics, I look for something that you can pair with multiple looks and can get a lot of use out of. I tend to spend more money on staple items because I wear them a lot more. When I'm not looking for staple pieces, I look for fun, funky items that add a pop to your outfit or give your look an extra kick.

What do you look for when shopping for a jacket?
It's all about the silhouette and fit. It could be the cutest jacket in the world, but if it doesn't fit right, then the entire look is ruined.

What is your most sentimental accessory?
I have two necklaces that mean the world to me. One is a locket with a picture of my grandma and grandpa (my mom's parents) in it. The second was given to me by my other grandma (my dad's mom) when I turned 16.  My grandparents were very special to me, so I feel like they are with me during all of my fun experiences in life when I wear these necklaces.

Who is your fashion icon?
Brigitte Bardot. Duh!
