HOW TO WEAR IT: Cutouts are a sexy way to strategically show some skin while still leaving a lot to the imagination. The trend has taken Hollywood by storm with starlets sporting the look, though we must say edgy actress Rooney Mara is the reigning queen of it. As with all trends, there's a right way and wrong way to wear it. Out of the three ladies who dared to show side-driff in cutout gowns, Amber Heard styled it the best. A few lessons to take from her: When wearing cutouts, it's best to sport it with an updo so your cascading locks don't overwhelm the structure the cutouts lend to your ensemble. (Cough, cough Kyra!) Also, when wearing cutouts, solid, distinct colors are best. Jenna's floral gown with its sheer maxi skirt and cutouts put her dangerously close to our worst dressed list!
