Rooney Mara Ditches Trademark Tresses For an Ombre ‘Do
As summer approaches, you know we'll see a bevy of celebs will be sporting lighter locks. So, we weren't surprised to see Emma Stone already flaunting strawberry-blond tresses.

However, we did a double take when we saw that Rooney Mara ditched her signature jet-black shoulder length hair and full bangs yesterday for a long ombré 'do. Granted, the 180 change is for her role in The Bitter Pill, which is being filmed in NYC. While we think the lighter coif looks great on the Academy Award nominee, we kind of think the darker 'do is more her thing. After all, her gorgeous red carpet looks wouldn't have been as stunning without the contrast of her her dark mane. While we are obvious fans of her trademark tresses, this 'do is a nice softer change for the meantime.
