Kalyn Sets the Record Straight on Her Kidney Infection
I am surprised that Bonnie seems to be enjoying the drama between Whitney and me. Bonnie is a grown woman. I feel it is completely inappropriate for her to be getting joy out of her almost 25-year-old daughter picking on me, an 18-year-old. I'm not sure if harassing people is her game, but it needs to stop.
I even admit I need to stop giving in and even stirring the pot sometimes. We are all adults and need to step up and make a change.
The kidney infection was no surprise. Unfortunately, I have had a kidney condition since I was a young child. But people should not be so quick to judge until they know the real story.
I knew I had a urinary tract infection; when I started seeing symptoms of a UTI, I realized It was leading to a kidney infection, as it has many many times since I was a child. It's a health issue I have, and have to deal with. Stress played a role in my UTI, leading to the kidney infection. As most women know, when you are stressed it can throw off your pH balance, which can cause a number of infections to that region of the female body.
I am very saddened and disheartened that the woman and children are spreading rumors and lies, making it appear my kidney infection was caused by sexual activity. It was NOT. If you hear something, go directly to the source. Don't spread it some more so it can get twisted through the grapevine.
At the end of the day, I know the truth about my medical condition and I don't have to explain that to anyone.
There were no significant relationships with any of my coworkers at the ranch. I met a lot of great people at the ranch, both male and female. In the section of the ranch were I was working there were more guys, so obviously to pass time and make the best out of a not-so-fun job, I would converse with my male coworkers. Did I think any of them were attractive? Of course. I can agree with Leslie that I was a determined flirt—but it did not go past flirting. If you ask any girl if they have friends that are guys, they will say yes. But girls will be girls and jump to conclusions, assuming that just because a girl has a friend that's a guy, then they are sleeping with them.
Whitney and now some of the other girl's mothers saying unkind things about me is nothing new, and I am not surprised by it. It's sad to think some of the daughters act more mature than the mothers. But that's life. A lie is a lie, and my friends and family know the truth. I tell my girlfriends everything about my life. They know the real me and wouldn't believe any rumors or unkind words said by others. They have my back and always will! That's all that matters at the end of the day.
The health condition I have is something that I have been working through my entire life. I don't like to talk about it and it truly hurts that someone who doesn't know the facts about it would jump to conclusions and spread awful, vicious rumors. I really hope that by me writing this, viewers all over will take a step back and realize they should think twice before jumping to conclusions or judging others too quickly. It can a save a life one day.
