Julissa's Beach Body Fitness Tips
I get really focused before any big trip, and I try to have my workouts be more intense. So I turn it up a notch and do extra squats and things that would really get me in my best shape before hitting the beach.
Squats are definitely my thing. You can do them anywhere and really see results. I even do them with heels! When getting ready for bathing-suit season, I also tend to do more cardio than usual while also altering my diet a bit. Less carbs, more juices and protein!
But it's not just about working out; you also need to get a suit that really flatters your figure. There are so many different styles when it comes to bathing suits now! Really get to know your body type and shop accordingly. That's how I tend to dress on a regular basis. Just because something is a trend doesn't mean everyone's body type is fit for it. Go with the things that enhance your assets and minimize your trouble spots. ;)
Brazilian-cut bathing suit bottoms are smaller than the average bottoms. So a less baggy bathing suit bottom and less material also means fewer tan lines and a more flattering look. If you're small on the bottom a baggy suit is never flattering!
I worked hard to get booked for the trip so I wanted to take full advantage of the beach and everything Miami had to offer, even if it did include Dex. That was a bonus! LOL.
Dex is just such a nice guy. He really exudes an easiness about him. I'm always attracted to people that seem easygoing with great energy. And we had a good connection, but right now I'm having fun dating and getting to know different people. A long distance relationship requires a lot of work. I have enough on my plate.
My cohost at Mun2, Guad, is definitely a good-looking guy. He seemed more focused and into his work, which I liked. I don't see it going past a professional relationship with him. I've never dated anyone I've worked with because it could get tricky. Sometimes you want to be removed from your world and what you do for a living so dating someone at work it would be hard to do that.
Overall, Miami was an awesome trip! I got to do a bit of everything! Work hard and play hard, no complaints here! :)
