Leave it to the Queen of England to bring together two power couples together in Buckingham Palace. But for fashion lovers this meant two influential trendsetting women in one room!

Today, all the way from across the pond, Michelle Obama opted for a cropped pink jacket and a floral print Barbara Tfank dress. The pop of color is certainly the First Lady's style.

While the newlywed Kate Middleton also stayed true to her democratic High Street fashion policy when welcoming the Obamas. The camel bandage Reiss ensemble looked stellar on the Duchess of Cambridge, which she paired with equally simple black accessories.
