Glam Fairy's Jessica Dishes on Miss Dominican Republic Drama

This past weekend was big for Makeup Fairy Jessica. Not only did she celebrate her birthday on Friday (that's right, 11-11-11!), but she had a major storyline on last night's episode of Glam Fairy. Read on to find out how Jess felt about the Miss Dominican Republic makeover drama and how her relationship with Sharie has improved.

Glammy Go-Getter: My makeup line Glamorous Cosmetics was sponsoring the pageant show. They provided all of the makeup for the models. I was like, "I need to get Miss Dominican Republic to the Glam Factory!" I wanted to not only provide the makeup, I wanted to do the makeup as well! I was so excited to impress Alexa with this connection. The pageant queens were some of the most gorgeous women I had ever seen. They are not real humans. It was so weird!

Multitasking for the Makeover Trial: I'm good at what I do, but if I'm not prepared, I get frazzled. At the same time, I didn't want to disappoint Alexa. That's all I was thinking about. I was such a mess. I remember I was putting lipstick on Miss Dominican Republic and the lipstick fell off onto her dress. Everything that could go wrong went wrong! As far as me doing her hair, I almost burned her face. Can you imagine? She's about to do a pageant and she has burn marks on her face? That was tough!

Scoring a Second Chance: I honestly stalked Miss Domincan Republic! I begged her for another chance. I'm a good makeup artist. She's seen my work and she knew I had a makeup line. It was just about showing her one more time what I could really do. I knew she'd be down with it—and she eventually came around!

Bonding With Sharie: I always loved Sharie. I just loved to bust her chops—probably a little too much. She didn't have to help me at the end of the day. I've done nothing for her besides maybe terrorize her children. The pageant makeover experience definitely changed our relationship. She knows that if she needs anything now, she can come to me. She also knows that I'd be there for her, like if she needs me to touch up her eye makeup.
