Glam Fairy Baby Watch: Counting Down with Alexa!

Glam Fairy star Alexa Prisco has been counting down the days until the birth of her baby girl. While excited to meet the new addition to the Ziegler family, she's extremely anxious right now. It's not exactly new mom nerves, though—she's past her due date!

"I'm going crazy!" Alexa tweeted. "I just want her to come already!"

The littlest glam fairy was due on Saturday, November 24, but as of Tuesday afternoon, Alexa was laying in bed watching Dr. Phil and praying for labor pains! Monday was no better. "Fun night," she quipped. "Can hardly move my stomach is so tight and uncomfortable. Plus non-stop throwing up!" 

Last week, she was filled with sleepless nights, pizza cravings, tears, baby outfits—and a few mixed emotions. "Today is bittersweet," Alexa tweeted last Saturday. "Our daughter is due tomorrow. The first day of our journey as a family but today feels like my last day with [husband] Danny."

Now that her due date has passed, a frustrated Alexa has tried everything to induce labor. She's walked around her building "in a beyond ridiculous outfit," had sex, ate buffalo wings, drew hot baths and drank peppermint tea. "I'm pretty uncomfortable," she admitted. "As much as I've enjoyed this pregnancy I'm starting to reach the end of my rope."

The craziest part? Alexa was convinced that her baby girl would come early! Now she just hopes to have a natural labor, but she will induce if she gets a full week past the due date.

"I really want a natural experience so that I can naturally produce Oxytocin," the makeup artist told Style. "Some women get put on the synthetic version of Oxytocin, and they lose that bond [with the baby] that your natural chemicals will give you."

Here's to hoping you go into labor soon, Alexa! We can't wait to meet the littlest glam fairy!
