Cory on Wife Tia: "She Has the Most Caring Heart"
On this week's episode of Tia & Tamera, Tia got a surprise visit from her "best friend" and "built-in support" Cory. "Whenever [my husband] is on set, I feel like I perform better. To have him there just really brightens up my day," she told myStyle. We caught up with Cory to get the scoop on his and Tia's beautiful and loving relationship!
How did you meet Tia?
We met on an indie awhile ago, when I first moved to LA. We were just friends for a bit, then we started dating. I started going to church with her. I wasn't really into church, but I had faith and belief in God. She drew me closer to that. I just kinda knew she was the person I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. We now have a wonderful family. I don't know what I would do without her.
Why do you think your marriage with Tia works?
We're different, but the same. She is more of the book smart and I am more of the street smart, but we both have great hearts and we bring them together. We make it work. She helps me out in certain areas where I fall short and I do the same for her. We try not to stay away form each other for more than two weeks when either of us is on location filming.
What do you love most about Tia?
Tia has the most caring heart and she would give you her last. She is a genuine and beautifully spirited person.
Is there anything about Tia that bugs you?
Tia has the TV on really loud when we're in bed. I'm like, Tia! You cant hear that?! She loves reality shows. She loves Mob Wives and the cooking shows. She used to watch True Blood. That used to be one of her favorites. I like watching sports.
When does Tia look the sexiest to you?
When she wakes up in the morning. There's nothing like looking at her with no makeup on. That's when I capture her beauty at its finest.
