Cory Hardrict Dishes on Being Daddy to Son Cree

Actor Cory Hardrict, Tia's hubby, gave myStyle the scoop on what it's like to be the father of one of the cutest celebabies we know—we're talking about Cree, of course! Keep reading to see what he had to say...

Cree is almost 1! How are you settling into your role as Dad? What's your fave part about being a father?
Being a dad is great! My favorite part about being a father is seeing something I created, seeing this new life that is in the world. I love seeing Cree laugh, smile and stick his tongue out at me. He has all these opportunities that I can help him experience, like travel the world. I want him to experience things that I didn't as a child. I am very blessed to wake up every day knowing that I have a wonderful, healthy son. My life definitely has more of a purpose now.

What kinds of activities do you like to do with Cree?
We make faces at each other. Cree is funny! He makes the funniest faces and noises when I throw him up in the air. I really like to have my son in my hands and run with him like he is a little football. I love feeding him. I don't like to get up in the middle of the night, but it feels cool to get up at night when he is crying and change him. I haven't given him a bath yet—Tia likes to give him baths—but I definitely look forward to giving him baths.

What clothes and shoes do you like to see Cree in?
I like to see him in some Jordan jogging suits and Air Force 1's. I like him to look comfortable. He has a nice, preppy look with sweaters and cool leather jackets. He loves his hats, too. I like to see him in stuff like that.

Since his parents are both actors, how would you feel if Cree wanted to be in show business one day?
I am all for it. If he gravitates toward show business, I am all for it. I don't want to push him and say, You need to be in entertainment. If this is his calling, then Tia and I will support him as his parents and will show him the way.
