Ali Landry Dishes on Pregnancy Chic Style at Lia Sophia Launch

Last night at the Sunset Marquis in L.A., celebs like Ashlee Simpson, Kourtney Kardashian and Garcelle Beauvais attended the lia sophia fall jewelry launch. And even though Ali Landry is seven-months-pregnant, she didn't miss out on the fashion fun. The second-time mom-to-be looked gorgeous wearing a purple maxidress by Tucker and, of course, lia sophia jewelry.

We were shocked to learn that her dress wasn't even maternity wear and that her first pregnancy wasn't exactly filled with pretty frocks. Now that she is a pro at maternity style, she filled mystyle in on her secrets to looking fab:

Pregnancy Mistakes: I try not to let my pregnancy affect my style. But, my first pregnancy I looked like a hot mess. I was just basically buying anything that fit. So this time around, I really made an effort to really keep my style. I really just try to drape everything so that it looks nice and I look presentable. And not look like I'm about to give birth everyday.

Faithful Mama: This dress I am wearing is by Tucker. It's so thin and just drapes really well. So, this has been one of my go-to brands while pregnant. Another one is called Show Me Your Mumu. It's a new company, but they have beautiful pieces.

Denim Dilemma: As far as jeans, it's such a challenge for women who are pregnant. At first I bought like four pairs and spent a small fortune and realized I hated them all. Then, I discovered J Brand maternity jeans—they're incredible! And Habitual denims are also amazing. I can wear any of these all the time.

Pregnant in Heels: They are strictly for events. Normally, I just wear flip flops, like Havaianas, or anything with a cushion.

Baby Fashions: I like a baby to look like a baby. I'm not one of these trendy moms that dress up the children. They are so young and there is such a short amount of time. So, I really want to embrace that age and dress them in white and really sweet and innocent pieces. I just want to celebrate every phase in there life.
